COOPERATION AND CONSENSUS IS NEEDED IN THE HELSINKI CITY COUNCIL - LET'S BUILD INSTEAD OF BREAKING

A constructive discussion has always been at the center of how I handle issues. Respecting others is very important. How do we face each other? How do we talk to each other - do we strive to listen - even when we least agree?

Critical thinking needs its defenders. The trends we see and the world around us have shown that the weakening of the conversational culture creates a polarization of society. The concern must be taken seriously.

There is a huge need for moderation, pragmatism, and cooperation. We are all responsible for making it happen. Decision-making needs more realists than idealists. More those that are able to compromise and come to a consensus. Politicians need to be able to make tough decisions and justify them to the public. That is what I am committed to.

There are people who focus on complaining about what is wrong. And then there are those who take action and put things right. For us, in the National Coalition party, small and large things that work are a guarantee of a smooth everyday life. It is up to us to grab the bull by the horns and take care of the grievances.

Vote for a responsible candidate who can show evidence of her work. Vote for a person who, despite harsh criticism, pushes forward. A person who connects people listens and dares to have a say. Vote for someone who stands behind the things she believes in. I guarantee your vote will not be wasted.
